Claire is a native of Gonzales, Louisiana; she works in New Orleans, Louisiana as an attorney, consultant, and mediator.  Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Xavier University of Louisiana in 2004; she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.

Working as Of Counsel at Davenport and Kim, APLC, she practices in family law, employment law, contract and negotiations, and business and personnel disputes. She is also a certified mediator, working with the Office of Independent Police Monitor. The OIPM facilitates mediations between the New Orleans community and New Orleans Police Department.  During law school, she also served as a mediator for the Gillis Long Poverty Clinic and helped to resolve conflicts between New Orleans homeowners and contractors after Hurricane Katrina.

When Claire is not working in these professional capacities, she actively helps local non-profit organizations in the City of New Orleans and supports programs that foster professional development and leadership skills for students of all ages and young professionals. Claire firmly believes that making a difference in the lives of others and helping others on their journey are what make her life complete.  In return, she hopes that the seeds that are planted in others will produce more roots that do the same--making personal investment in others that help change others’ lives for the better.
